  In the morning you shall visit Jinci Temple, which is a short drive (about 15 miles) from Taiyuan City centre. Jinci Temple was often used as an imperial garden. After lunch you shall see the Ancient City of Pingyao. Located about 100km from Taiyuan by the River Fen, this central area of Shanxi Province is widely known for its numerous historical and cultural sites.
